Hero beauty product - No 7 Beautiful Skin Dry Skin rescuer

It's been bitterly cold here, in London recently (and it seems throughout most of Europe).

I have very dry, sensitive skin and I do suffer dreadfully during winter. The cold outdoors makes my skin red & sensitive and the central heating indoors dehydrates so I'm always on the look out for products to help me cope with all these varying conditions.

Boots No 7 Dry Skin Rescuer is one of those products. I'm not going to beat about the bush here - it's brilliant.  It's instantly hydrating.  You know the feeling when you're really thirsty and you have a drink of water?  How amazing it feels?  That's a little like what it feels when you apply Skin Rescuer.  Instantly soothed and hydrated.  It also acts as a barrier cream because it takes a lot longer for my skin to dehydrate after I've used it.

I always carry a tube of this in my bag now and apply it throughout the day.  It's an absolute life saver especially if I'm shopping and constantly going from cold outdoors into heated stores.  Obviously I can't use it like that when I'm wearing make up but applying it before I put on make up also works well.

I can't recommend it enough.  You can buy it in the UK here.  It doesn't seem to be available on the US Boots site.

Sounds like a great product. I wish it were available in the U.S.

You are right: dry skin can be a major problem during the cold season. A skin care product that promotes hydration can be a big help. Find one that is most suitable for your skin type. Also, opt for products that provide better UV protection.
